2022 NFL Season – Draftkings Analysis Week 3

This season, I am doing my best to offer sound advice on winning DraftKings Tournaments in the NFL.

General Strategy: On a weekly basis, I generally play somewhere between 7-10 lineups. I enter all of these lineups into Tournament style contests. These players that I recommend are not for Double Up Contests.

Quarterbacks:

High End: Hard to argue against Josh Allen right now. However, I think there are a lot of options in the mid tier this week.

Mid Level: Stafford, Cousins, and Goff I think all warrant looks this week. I think a low owned stack could be Stafford/Kupp/Higbee. Playing combinations of Cousins/Jefferson paired with St. Brown, or Goff/St. Brown paired w/ Jefferson are both appealing options.

Running backs:

Mid Level: I like a lot of the mid-level backs again this week. Breece Hall, David Montgomery, and Rashad Penny will all be sprinkled into my lineups. In lineups where you can afford to pay up a little, I am looking at Leonard Fournette.

Wide Receivers:

High End: Diggs is a steal at his current price. I think he’ll be loaded into just about all of my lineups. I’m also looking at St. Brown and AJ Brown.

Mid Level: Garrett Wilson stormed onto the scene last week… If he’s able to catch two more TD’s I’ll be thrilled. (See Garrett Wilson Prop Bet on the Newsletters page).

Low End: Ashton Dulin saw a lot of targets in Michael Pittman’s absence. If he remains on the shelf, he should be a great choice as the Colts will likely have to throw a lot to keep up with the Chiefs.

Tight Ends: Higbee and Irv Smith are my favorite two this week. Higbee has seen an average of 10 targets per game, and Irv Smith also saw a lot of action for the Vikings. I expect that Vikings/Lions game to be one of the highest scoring games on the slate.

Defense: Tampa is probably my top choice on the board. An interesting, cheap play could be the Jets. Joe Burrow continues to see the sacks pile up. I may also take a flier on the Ravens. The Patriots offense remains a mess, and Baltimore has a history of aggression.

Other Thoughts:

  • I’m a little scared to pay up for the Chargers players. I want to see what Herbert looks like with his injured ribs before I pay premiums on Mike Williams etc.
  • Probably a great opportunity to get Jonathan Taylor under owned…. I’m just a little worried about the Colts right now despite their past success against KC.
  • Lamar Jackson was shut down by the Patriots defense last time he faced them. I’m staying away there.
  • My thoughts on Kyler Murray are well documented against the Rams. Hard Pass.
  • Tyreek Hill and Waddle are an absolute problem… I think they draw a tough matchup against Buffalo this week however.

Good Luck!
