Najee Harris Over 3.5 Receptions (+110)

I think there’s a great chance Najee Harris is heavily involved in the Steelers offense as a receiver in Week 1.

  • In 2021, Cincinnati gave up the 5th most receptions to running backs in the NFL.
  • In the last matchup vs. the Bengals, Harris caught 14 balls on a staggering 19 targets.
  • Mitchell Trubisky was named the starter and he has a propensity to check down to running backs. In Trubisky’s last 9 games as a starter, he’s completed an average of 4.5 passes to running backs. Running backs have also commanded a total of 17.17% of his positional targets. Given the struggles on the offensive line for Pittsburgh, I’d expect Trubisky to get rid of the ball quickly on lots of check downs.
  • In 2021, Najee Harris took roughly 85% of the running back snaps for Pittsburgh.
  • Because I believe Cincinnati will have a tough time moving the ball against Pittsburgh’s defense, there should be plenty of opportunities for the Steelers to possess the ball. I think this should favor Harris playing a more active role in the offense.

Best of Luck!
