2022 NFL Season – Week 14 Player Prop

D’Andre Swift over 35.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

D’Andre Swift took back the role as the Lions primary running back last week vs. Jacksonville. Swift accounted for 14 carries and 62 yards on a 51% snap share. His snap count was the highest it has been since week 8, and he hasn’t been able to maintain this rate due to nagging injuries. It appears that he has put those injury issues to the side as he racked up the majority of his production in the first half and early third quarter. In a game with the second highest total on the slate (51.5), I think 35.5 projected rushing yards is very low for a back that has a great chance of handling the most touches out of the backfield for the favored Lions.

Before the injuries piled up on Swift, he had got off to a great start to the season running for 200 yards during the first 2 games. Swift has seen a snap share of 51% or better in 4 games this season, and he ran for 144, 56, 6, and 62 yards in each of those situations. I’m taking my shot this week at a back who is averaging 5.5 yards per carry on the season and is going against a defense that allows 6.0 yards per play (30th in the NFL). I think it’s very likely that Swift gets 10+ carries for 50+ yards.

Best of Luck!
