Matthew Stafford Over 257.50 Yards Passing : (-115 Draftkings Sportsbook)
I like Stafford for a big day in Indy. Dome conditions, favorable matchup vs. the Colts secondary, and obviously Sean McVay’s creativity + scheme all play a role in this selection. Stafford built his career off of dome performances and I think he has shown in the first month that he still has juice in the tank.
He went 300+ in 2 out of 3 weeks so far and his lowest performance from a yardage output was last week vs. Cincinnati where he still went for 269. Like I said in my week 4 writeup, the Indy defense benefited from poor weather and field conditions vs. Baltimore. In a controlled environment, I like the Rams offense to move the ball through the air. The Rams are second in the league in intended air yards, trailing only Minnesota. Indy ranks just 27th in time of possession, while the Rams are 6th. I think this will maximize the opportunities for Stafford to rack up yardage.
